Biography
Amber's path to dietetics began personally. After being diagnosed with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), she experienced firsthand how isolating and disorienting a restrictive elimination diet can feel, and how profoundly a knowledgeable, compassionate dietitian can change that experience.
Amber's goal is to help patients build a healthy, sustainable relationship with food no matter what dietary restrictions or health challenges they are navigating. She works with patients managing GI conditions, those using GLP-1 medications for weight management, athletes looking to optimize their performance, and anyone who has felt overwhelmed by the intersection of food and health. She is especially passionate about supporting patients with EoE, IBS, and other GI conditions, helping them work through complex dietary protocols without losing joy in food. Her background as a triathlete and weightlifter gives her a personal perspective on sports nutrition, while her engineering and business background brings an analytical, problem-solving approach to every patient interaction.
Amber earned her Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and her Master of Business Administration from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Applied Nutrition and complete her dietetic internship through the University of New England. She is the founder of Across Nutrition, a private practice located in Westfield, Massachusetts. Amber is registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and is a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist in the state of Massachusetts.
